The audience experiences firsthand the genius’s profound inner turmoil. The heartfelt correspondence between Vincent and his brother Theo poignantly illustrates how deeply the artist was plagued by self-doubt, financial hardship, and loneliness, while at the same time revealing the unbridled inner drive that compelled him to paint and draw relentlessly despite it all.

In the immersive section, the centerpiece of the exhibition, visitors are literally drawn into the painter’s fascinating world.
